John H. Dumont concentrates his practice in the representation of closely-held businesses and nonprofit organizations. He has advised companies on a range of issues including initial formation, raising capital, shareholder relations, the use of equity and debt and other regulatory issues facing New Jersey Businesses. His experience also encompasses estate planning and a broad range of real estate activities, including acquisition, financing, tax-free exchanges, leasing, use of low income housing, tax credits, and the formation of joint ventures, investor-oriented limited partnerships, and land use law. Mr. Dumont works closely with various nonprofit organizations who seek to develop and provide affordable housing in New Jersey. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in 1963 and graduated from Michigan Law School in 1966. He is a member of the Princeton and New Jersey Bar Associations.
